Jabber Disk

Jabber Disk is a jabber server component used for uploading data to the jabber server using standard file transfer. By default settings, it allows users to store data in two modes - private (where uploaded data may be seen only by user who uploaded these data to the server) and public (where uploaded data are visible to other users as well). In case of jabbim server, public data are also accessible via www.

Jabber Disk 0.2 can be downloaded here or by checking out the subversion repository - for example, using svn shell client: svn co svn://dev.jabbim.cz/jdisk/tags/0.2 jdisk

Install

  • meet requirements below
  • download and unpack the files
  • configure jdisk in jdisk.conf

Requirements

  • ruby >= 1.8.5 (may work with older versions) link
  • xmpp4r 0.5 or higher link
  • mysql/ruby link
